CrystalMark Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) recognizes the importance of personal information obtained from its stakeholders. The Company considers the protection of such information to be fundamental to its business activities and one of its most important management responsibilities.
To provide safe, secure, and trustworthy services, the Company establishes the following basic policy, ensures that it is understood throughout the organization, and complies with it.
1. Basic Policy
- The Company complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards. The Company also establishes, implements, and maintains internal rules concerning the protection of personal information and continuously works to improve them.
- The Company establishes a management framework for protecting personal information, communicates its internal rules to its officers and employees, and strives to ensure full compliance.
- The Company handles personal information only within the scope of the purposes of use disclosed to customers. Except where customer consent has been obtained or where there is a legitimate reason, the Company does not disclose or provide personal information supplied by customers to any third party.
- The Company strives to keep personal information accurate and up to date, prevent unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or damage, and continuously improve and correct its information security measures.
- The Company responds sincerely and promptly to inquiries and requests concerning personal information, including requests for disclosure.
2. Purposes of Use of Personal Information
When customers provide personal information, the Company specifies the purposes of use in advance and uses the information only within that scope. If it becomes necessary to use a customer’s personal information beyond the previously disclosed purposes, the Company will notify the customer and obtain consent before doing so. The purposes for which the Company uses personal information in its possession are as follows.

- Business discussions, meetings, and related communications with customers
- Shipment of products, documents, and other materials
- Distribution of information about services, events, and related matters
- Provision of customer support and maintenance
- Responses to inquiries and consultations
- Provision of membership-based services
- Service development, surveys, monitoring programs, and similar activities
- Performance of contracts
3. Proper Acquisition of Personal Information
The Company acquires personal information by lawful and fair means.
4. Provision of Personal Information
- The Company does not disclose or provide customers’ personal information to third parties except in the following cases:
- When the customer has given consent
- When required by law
- When necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent
- When the handling of personal information is outsourced within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use
- When a business is succeeded due to a merger, company split, business transfer, or other reason
- Notwithstanding item (1) above, when the Company determines that it is appropriate for an affiliated company or agent to provide services or respond to an inquiry, the Company may provide that party with information such as the customer’s address, name, and telephone number. In such cases, the customer may request that the Company stop providing personal information to the relevant party.
